District Metals announced that its joint technical committee with Boliden has approved the 2025 exploration budget for the polymetallic Tomtebo and Stollberg properties. The budget amounts to 3 million CAD and will include geological field work, review of historic data and core drilling.
Drilling at Tomtebo has already started and will include three to four drill holes for around 1500 to 2000m in the historic mine area, targeting the Steffenburgs zone.
Notably, the company is also planning to drill test other targets within the larger Tomtebo permit.
