Amaroq Minerals reported results from its 2022 exploration program at the Vagar license. Four scout drill holes were drilled to identify the style and attitude of the vein and granite-hosted gold mineralization in preparation for more systematic exploration. All drill holes intersected anomalous gold values, returning up to 1.93m @ 1.58g/t Au. The company sees the drill results as indicative of an intrusion-related gold mineralized system warranting further investigation and is currently considering the establishment of a permanent satellite camp to Nalunaq.
