Firefox Gold provided an exploration update for its Jeesiö and Northern Group projects. Exploration trenching and bedrock sampling resulted in anomalous gold values, including a sample returning 33.6g/t Au from the Katajavaara Hill prospect at Jeesiö. Bedrock mapping at the Sarvi property resulted in the identification of several new alteration zones and mineralized chert with gold values up to 0.31g/t Au. In addition to further advancing the Mustajärvi gold project, the company’s plans for 2023 include additional mapping and sampling at Katajavaara, mapping, sampling, ground geophysics, and drilling at Sarvi as well as target development work followed by BoT drilling in the Letho/Kolho area.
