Massive Sulfide Intersected At Puolalaki

Avira Resources announced the intersection of 36m of massive sulfides within a 76m wide zone of disseminated to blebby magmatic sulfides at its Puolalaki project in northern Sweden. The massive sulfides were encountered in drill hole PUO23002, testing a high conductive body at shallow depths. Initial visual logging indicates the sulfides to consist of a mix of pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, with pXRF reading indicating the presence of nickel, copper, and cobalt. The company expects to announce the first assay results in May.

Notably, the remaining four holes of the drill program, testing additional conductors, all intersected zones of disseminated matrix or blebby to stringer sulfides at target depth but the encountered mineralization is seen as not sufficient to explain the EM signatures. Subsequently, DHEM surveys of all five holes are planned to commence shortly to further refine follow-up targets.
