Gemdale Gold announced the staking of new ground in SE Finland. The newly claimed Savo project covers a shear-hosted gold deposit with more than 25 000m of historical drilling and an inferred resource of 3.23Mt @ 2.7g/t Au for 276 000oz Au.
In addition, the company received final approval for the Nuotti and Perä exploration permits in the Hitura Nickel district as well as for the Isoneva 3 permit. At Nuotti, historic exploration work intersected PGE mineralization returning e.g. 15.6m @ 0.34% Cu, 0.13g/t Pt, 0.24g/t Pd from 17.3m and 12.1m @ 0.42% Cu, 0.34g/t Pt, 0.5g/t Pd from 49.3m in historical hole R307.
