District Metals announced it was granted the Nianfors nr1 and nr2 exploration licenses located in Gävleborgs County, central Sweden. The Nianfors nr2 license contains the Majsaberget uranium-yttrium-molybdenum occurrence, consisting of 889 mineralized boulders that returned a weighted average of 0.16% U3O8 and 0.08% Y. In addition, several mineralized outcrops also occur, indicating a mineralized zone with widths greater than 4m and historic assays of 0.27% U3O8 and 0.1% Y. Although strongly recommended by previous explorers, diamond drilling has never been conducted at the property.
