Amaroq Minerals published an update on copper exploration in southern Greenland. Based on a larger-scale mineralized system modeling approach, data review, and recent findings, the company sees a new copper belt emerging in southern Greenland. The belt stretches from historic copper occurrences on the west coast into the Johan Dahl Land some 150km to the NE, where previous scout drilling intersected several hundred meters of low-grade porphyry-style mineralization at Target West. In addition to Target West, the company’s recent work resulted in the definition of 17 new copper targets that are planned to be further assessed in the upcoming field season.
