European Green Transition published metallurgical test results from its Olserum REE project. Based on a 135kg sample of typical Olserum mineralization, the study showed that an REE-rich concentrate can be produced utilizing magnetic separation and standard flotation techniques. A bulk REE & apatite concentrate achieved grades of 10.5% to 12.6% TREE. Test work has further shown that an additional step, removing the apatite, can further upgrade the concentrate to 30-40.11% TREO, albeit with some REE losses to the apatite concentrate.
