Prospech Limited published its maiden, inferred JORC mineral resource estimate for the Korsnäs REE project in Finland. Based on a combination of extensive resampling of historic drill core, recent confirmation drilling, and utilizing a 0.5% TREO Cut-off Grade, the estimate returned 7.1Mt @ 1.08% TREO, including 1955ppm Nd2O3, 558ppm Pr6O11, 11ppm Tb4O7, 41ppm Dy2O3.
The company further published an exploration target for the area immediately adjacent to the resource estimate indicating some 10-12Mt @ 1.0-1.2% TREO.
Going forward, the company plans to further improve the accuracy of the estimate via, e.g. additional sampling of historic core, future drilling by Prospech, and metallurgical test works.
