Nordic Iron Ore announced the intersection of two zones of hematite mineralization in the first hole of a deep drilling campaign at its Blötberget project. Initial XRF analysis indicates 8m @ 60-65% Fe from 1044 to 1052m and 11m @ 40-45% Fe from 1063m to 1074m.
The drilling program is part of a collaboration between Nordic Iron Ore, Epiroc, and the Smart Exploration Research Center (SERC) and is based on the application of seismic surveys in mineral exploration.
