Firefox Gold reported assay results for the first 4 drill holes of its phase 5 drilling program at the company’s Mustajärvi project. Notably, drill holes 21MJ014 and 21MJ013 intersected high grade gold mineralization grading e.g. 0.5m @ 130.5g/t Au and 0.75m @ 41.46g/t Au, respectively. In addition, the deeper parts of hole 14, drilled as a scissor hole to previous drilling, intersected another high-grade zone of 0.8m @13.0g/t Au.
In addition, 21MJ015, collared into the so-called East Target, returned several high-grade intercepts including 1m @ 7.62g/t Au, 2.45m @ 7.97g/t Au and 1m @11.04g/t Au. With these intercepts, the company extends the strike length of mineralization at Mustajärvi to more than 1.6km. Assays from 2 additional holes from the Northwest Target are currently pending.
