Nordic Nickel published results from recent geophysics at its Pulju project in northern Finland. Results from DHEM surveying of 17 historic holes at the Hotinvaara prospect show multiple conductors that correlate with historic intersects above >0.5% Ni. The modeled plates confirm the continuity of mineralization in multiple directions, underlining the potential to expand the existing, shallow resource. An additional conductor modeled in an area with sparse drilling but known occurrence of ultramafic cumulate rocks provides an additional target for near-surface massive sulfide mineralization. Following these results, the company now aims to add a second rig to its upcoming 14-month drill campaign, set to commence in January 2023.
