Aurion Resources reported the discovery of a new gold-copper mineralization along the Helmi-Kutuvuoma trend. Several holes drilled approximately 2km west of the Helmi discovery intersected gold and copper mineralized zones returning e.g. 6m @ 6.25g/t Au and 0.24% Cu and 12.8m@ 0.26 g/t Au and 1.07 % Cu in drill hole KUE22028.
For 2023 the JV has budgeted 10.4 million CAD and plans to drill approx. 10500m at Helmi, the Kutuvuoma-Helmi structural corridor, and selected geochemical and geophysical targets.
