Kingsrose Mining announced the submission of a Natura 2000 Assessment for parts of its Penikat PGE project in northern Finland. Natura 2000 Assessment reports for the remainder of the project are expected to be submitted by the end of October. The submitted report indicates a minor impact of the proposed exploration activities and the company anticipates that exploration activities may commence in December 2024. Kingsrose aims to secure approval for 443 drill pads and associated access routes to assess and develop the high-grade PGE project.
