Alicanto Minerals announced the identification of a new target following a recent technical review and field mapping campaign at the Greater Falun project. According to the company, “field mapping highlighted potential quartz vein hosted gold mineralization over a target zone of approximately 3km length”, at the Strömbo target, where previous sampling returned up to 7.2g/t Au. Going forward, the company plans additional fieldwork and geological modeling to unlock the area’s potential.
The company further stated that it is in discussions with potential strategic partners for its Greater Falun and Sala Silver projects and is evaluating several potential project acquisitions worldwide.
