Tomtebo Drilling Update

District Metals provided an update from an ongoing drilling program at its polymetallic Tomtebo project in central Sweden. To date, three drill holes for a total of 1712.5m have been drilled near the old mine, testing the Steffenburgs zone and the inferred ore strata at the contact between different types of geochemically distinct rhyolites. Disseminated to stringer style sulfide mineralization has been intersected in all holes, with some zones currently interpreted to represent footwall style mineralization while others are inferred to be part of the main ore horizon. Notably, follow-up geophysics also detected multiple off-hole conductors.

The rig is now moving to the Kvistaberg target, five kilometers northeast of the historic Tomtebo mine. At Kvistaberg, the company identified a SkyTEM anomaly that correlates well with several grab samples of sulfide mineralization and more importantly the interpreted prospective VMS horizon identified through the geochemical work at Tomtebo.
