Mawson Finland reported the first results from its ongoing winter drilling program at the Rajapalot project in Northern Finland. The company currently has four diamond rigs actively drilling at multiple prospects. To date, 10 holes for a total of 4,424 meters have been drilled with gold assays received for an initial batch of six drill holes.
Testing depth step-outs at the Palokas and Palokas South prospects, drilling returned, for example, 5m @ 0.58g/t Au in drill hole PAL0373, extending the mineralized envelope at depth.
