Teako Minerals announced it executed a definitive agreement with Capella Minerals to acquire 90% ownership in the Lokken copper-cobalt-zinc project in central Norway.
The project complements Taeko’s existing landholdings in the area and provides the company with a number of more advanced, drill-ready targets in the vicinity of the historical Lokken mine (estimated historic production: 24Mt @ 2.3% Cu, 1.9% Zn). Among the near mine prospects is the drill-ready Amot target located some 5km to the east of the former mine. The target consists of an up to 2km long coincident electromagnetic, ground magnetic, and geochemical anomaly within the prospective stratigraphy.
