Firefox Gold reported results from its summer work program and outlined plans for additional work during autumn. Fieldwork at Mustajärvi resulted in the identification of a new gold mineralized outcrop (rock chips returning 4.82g/t Au and 4.41g/t Au) located 500m away from the nearest drilling. Bottom-of-till surveying further resulted in the identification of a new BOT anomaly above the interpreted Mustajärvi shear zone (see graphic below). Going forward the company plans to conduct a small trenching campaign at the project “East Target” and geophysical surveys ahead of additional drilling later this year.
The company further conducted a 16.15km2 ground magnetic survey in the southern part of the Jeesiö property and has taken additional rock chip samples at the Saittavaara prospect. Field work is continuing and trenching is planned throughout the fall of 2024.
