Gungnir Resources announced the discovery of gold in bedrock at its Hemberget project located in the southeast portion of the Swedish Gold Line. Following the discovery of anomalous gold in boulders earlier this summer, additional fieldwork unearthed a gold-mineralized outcrop returning up to 0.74g/t Au. The mineralization is associated with disseminated arsenopyrite and silica sericite alteration. Assays for additional sampling in the outcrop area and arsenopyrite-bearing boulders further to the west are currently pending.
