Prospech Limited reported the completion of the first diamond drilling program at the Korsnäs REE project since the 1970s. Supported by the EU REMHub grant program, the 1000m program aimed at testing the known REE mineralization’s extensions and continuity while supporting the planned Korsnäs resource estimate and providing core for metallurgical test work.
Utilizing the findings of a recently completed Master thesis on the origin and character of the Korsnäs REE mineralization, the company has also initiated a metallurgical test work program based on 300kg of sample material from the tailings storage facility and 200kg of core from the recent drilling campaign.
