Aurion Resources provided an exploration update. The company reported Au-assay results from the remaining 6 drill holes of a recently completed 3557.5m drill program at the Aamurusko project. The best result comes from drill hole AM21201, where a sheared and carbonate-chlorite-biotite altered gabbro returned 6.2g/t Au over 0.7m, including grains of visible gold.
Currently, a scout diamond drill program is testing selected targets within the wider Risti property, with additional base of till sampling covering parts of the Risti and Launi properties. The company further advised plans to allocate parts of its contracted drilling capacity to the Aurion-B2Gold JV to test targets accessible only in winter most efficiently.
In addition, a drone survey was recently completed, covering the whole of the Risti Property and parts of the Launi property.
