Palladium One reported final assays from its resource drilling at Kaukua South, with grades as high as 2.6g/t Pd_Eq over 49.3m, including 4.4g/t Pd_Eq over 7.5m in hole LK21-122. According to the company, resource modeling can now begin and an updated estimate for Kaukua is expected in Q1 2022. In addition, the company tested several strong IP anomalies in the west and east of the main mineralization. Drilling of the western anomaly returned felsic to intermediate volcanics that are interpreted to form the cap rocks of the mafic-ultramafic Kollisamaa complex. The company plans to further drill test the target from more optimal drill pad locations in the future. Two holes drilled into the eastern anomaly returned mineralized intercepts, with the better grading 1.5g/t Pd_Eq over 18.2m in hole LK21-031. Notably, both a mineralized upper and lower zone were intersected, indicating that the Far East anomaly represents the continuation of Kaukua south.
