District Metals announced preparations to drill three of its targets, two of which are located in Sweden’s Bergslagen Mining district. At the company’s flagship, polymetallic Tomtebo project, a three-hole, 1200m drill program is scheduled to commence in early April. Drilling aims to step out below recently reported high-grade polymetallic intercepts as well as to test a magnetic anomaly some 600m northeast along trend of the Tomtebo mine.
In addition, the company plans maiden drilling at its Gruvberget project, scheduled to commence in early May. Drilling will comprise of 10 holes amounting to approx. 1800m. Drilling is planned to test the Gruvberget North Zone, where previous operators defined mineralization along 550m strike length, but to date, only tested to a vertical depth of 160m.
