Eclipse Metals – Greenland sampling update

Eclipse Metals reported assay results from its Ivittuut and Gronnedal-Ika projects in Greenland. Grab samples from the historic Ivigtut mine dumps returned e.g. 26% fluorine, 165g/t Ag, 0.14% Cu, 3.83% Pb, and 0.37% Pb in sample I21012, whereas samples from Gronnedal-Ika returned highly anomalous REE values for both, heavy and light REE elements, underlining the carbonatite complexes’ potential to host significant REE-mineralization.

Further styles of REE mineralization, yet to be tested are certain aplite and pegmatite dykes, cutting the carbonatite complex, certain dolerite dykes, reported having a high REE potential, and a greisen alteration zone enclosing the Ivigtut cryolite deposit.
