District Metals reported on airborne geophysics conducted at the company’s Gruvberget property. The SkyTEM survey resulted in the definition of multiple conductive and magnetic anomalies, often, but not always associated with known mineral occurrences. Notably, a conductor in the vicinity of historic workings at Gruvberget North appears to be extending far beyond the mineralization outlined in historic drilling.
The company notes that the applied SkyTEM system can identify copper-gold dominant mineralization as moderate to strong conductors while the silver-lead-zinc dominated parts of the system may show as non-conductive to weakly conductive but can often be identified in combination with magnetic data due to their correlation with magnetic sulfides.
