Drilling To Commence At Skellefteå North

Mawson Gold announced the start of drilling at the company’s Skellefteå North project in northern Sweden. The initial plan at Skellefteå North is to test the Dalbacka prospect with five holes for approximately 600m. At Dalbacka, drilling is targeting a zone beneath a 180m long outcrop that returned multiple gold mineralized grab and channel samples, e.g. 3.8m @ 4.5g/t Au and 1.6m@ 5.4g/t Au.

The company further reported that scout drilling outside, but adjacent to the resource areas at its Finnish Rajapalot project did not return significant mineralization but helped in improving the project’s general geological understanding. The company advised that a regional exploration program to advance the target pipeline will be conducted while a PEA program is underway.
