Nordic Nickel reported encouraging first-pass mineralogical and chemical test work results from its Hotinvaara nickel mineralization in northern Finland. Two bulk samples, averaging grades of 0.238% Ni and 0.714%Ni, returned a high Ni-in-Sulfide content (83% in sample 1 and 94% in sample 2), simple sulfide mineralogy with good liberation characteristics, and zero detected arsenic.
The company is currently working on a JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate for the shallow, disseminated mineralization at Hotinvaara, while simultaneously preparing to drill test more massive style, deeper-seated targets.
