Kingsrose Mining published an exploration target estimate for its Penikat PGE-Nickel-Copper project in Finland. The JORC exploration target ranges from 21-32 million tonnes @ 4 to 7.4g/t 6E (the sum of platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, and gold), amounting to 2.8-7.7 million ounces 6E. Whereas conceptual in nature, the company notes that this target ranks the Penikat project as one of the highest-grade PGE exploration projects globally. Importantly, the exploration target was limited to a depth of 500m and the AP Reef was not included in the estimate due to insufficient distribution of historic drilling.
