Kingsrose Mining reported on the resampling of historic core from the Porsvann and Karenhaugen intrusions at the company’s Porsanger PGE-Cu-Ni project in Norway. Assay results confirm the presence of broad zones of palladium dominant PGE-copper mineralization, returning e.g., 45m @ 1.4g/t 4E and 0.1% Cu, including a higher-grade zone of 15m @ 2.6g/t 4E and 0.2% Cu. Notably, the resampling program also confirmed the presence of anomalous rhodium concentration with the highest-grade interval from Porsvann grading 3m @ 0.17g/t Rh. According to the company, the occurrence of nickel sulfides is further promising with regard to the project’s nickel exploration potential.
