Amaroq Minerals announced further results from its 2021 regional exploration program across southern Greenland. Ground reconnaissance in the Sondre Sermilik Area led to the re-discovery of a historically reported quartz boulder containing visible gold and returning 10.4g/t Au. Hyperspectral scanning of the nearby slopes resulted in the identification of a shallow dipping structure associated with chlorite or biotite alteration that will be targeted for additional sampling in the ongoing field season. In addition, stream sediment sampling in the upper parts of the fjord returned anomalous gold grades of up to 0.14g/t Au that warrant further work to locate the mineralization in outcrop.
