Cu-Mineralization Intersected At Burfjord JV

Norden Crown Metals provided an exploration update from its Cu-Au Burfjord project in northern Norway, advanced together with JV partner Boliden Mineral AB. Summer exploration activities included 3499.4m of diamond drilling with the objective to evaluate the copper-gold grade and continuity of new targets. According to the company, previously untested IOCG style copper mineralization was intersected in the Gamlegruva area, on the eastern limb of the Burfjord anticline.

In addition to diamond drilling, the company further conducted downhole geophysical surveys, a larger soil sampling campaign, as well as some targeted mapping, that resulted in surface identification of the mineralization intersected in drilling in the Gamlegruva area.

The company notes, that, assay results are expected in the coming months and plans are currently being formulated to follow up on this new discovery in the coming winter.
