Norra Metals announced it received approval of the submitted planned exploration work at its Norwegian Bleikvassli project from the Direktoratet for Mineralforvaltning, giving the company the right for further investigation at and around the historic mine. Initial, planned work at the project includes drill testing of the down dip extension of the central part of the deposit, where historic drilling indicates the continuation of mineralization. The granted work program further includes geophysical and geochemical surveys testing the southern and northern extension of the deposit, as well as other regional targets where mineralization is known from historic drilling or rock chip sampling.
