GreenRoc Mining published results from a field exploration program that was running in parallel to recent drilling at the company’s flagship Amitsoq Island project in southern Greenland. A total of 18 rock chip samples were collected, defining several new targets from the northern Amitsoq Valley Bed prospect to the southern tip of Nanortalik Island, where grab samples returned up to 32.5 % C(g).
According to the company, these results significantly expanded the potential for multiple graphite discoveries outside primary target zones around the Amitsoq and Kalaaq deposits and will be followed up with modern exploration techniques in future field seasons.
