Successful Orientation Survey at Gruvberget

District Metals reported encouraging results from a recent soil sampling orientation survey at its Gruvberget project. The orientation survey aimed at identifying the best method to detect polymetallic sulfide mineralization at the project and included three sampling lines for a total of 37 soil samples, covering the Gruvberget north mineralization as well as its inferred extension. Although both conventional and ionic leach methods succeeded in outlining the mineralized trend, the latter returned much better results.

Following the success in the orientation survey, the company commenced a substantial ionic leach soil sampling program covering four target areas previously identified by geophysics and historic mineral occurrences.
