Alicanto Minerals announced the intersection of visual sulfides in the first drill hole at the Skyttgruvan-Naverberg target along strike from the historic Falun Mine. Targeting the down plunge continuation 100m below historic workings, the drill hole intersected sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, and pyrrhotite mineralization in discrete zones of up to 7m in width.
A follow-up DHEM geophysical survey was successful in identifying a series of strong conductors, including a longer wave off-hole conductor situated some 30-50m north of the drill hole. A second hole, following up on the encouraging visual results is currently underway and assay results for GRO2219 are expected before the end of the quarter.
