GreenRoc Mining reported the remaining assays from its phase 2 drill program at the Amitsoq Island Graphite project in southern Greenland. Results from both the lower and upper graphite layer grade around the 20% graphite mark, with mineable widths (>2m true thickness) intersected in eight holes of the UGL as well as in all 19 holes drilled in the LGL. According to the company, the grade consistency and simple architecture of the graphite layers indicate relatively straightforward mine planning and mining operations from a technical point of view.
The assay results have now been forwarded to an independent competent person for a revised mineral resource assessment scheduled for January 2023.
