Gungnir Resources published new assay results and reported the identification of a new footwall nickel target from its Lappvattnet project in northern Sweden. Drilled in the western part of the deposit, hole LAP22-10 returned 7m @ 1.16% Ni, while several drill holes in the central part of the deposit intersected a new zone, believed to represent footwall-style mineralization. Within this new zone, drill hole LAP22-28 intersected a previously not observed, “ball-textured” peridotite/pyroxenite with local matrix sulfides that could represent a former conduit for the nickel-bearing magma.
