Latitude 66 – 2022 Exploration Results

Latitude 66 Cobalt published exploration results from 32 diamond drill holes in the Kuusamo area, Finland. Exploration efforts in the K South camp led to the discovery of a new Co-Au mineralization at the K10 prospect, where 2 holes intersected a magnetite-pyrrhotite-scheelite rock returning e.g., 6.5m @ 0.11% Co and 3.15g/t Au (L66K10DD005). The mineralization is interpreted to thicken towards the surface and will be subject to further drill testing in 2023. Follow-up drilling at the K9 target further returned significant gold mineralization in addition to also occurring cobalt mineralization, assaying e.g., 13.45m @ 6.25g/t Au, 0.18% Co and 0.24% Cu in drill hole L66K9DD008. The company also reported drill results from its H1 target, a flat-lying Co, Cu mineralized body, returning e.g., 6.2m @ 0.29% Co and 0.38% Cu. Here, the company aims to create a revised geological model and publish a maiden JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate in 2023.
