Assay Results from Puolalaki

Avira Resources reported initial assay results from its maiden drilling campaign at the Puolalaki project in northern Sweden. Drill hole PUO23002 intersected a wide zone of massive sulfides returning 36m @ 0.63% Ni, 0.57% Cu, 952ppm Co as well several higher-grade zones (e.g. 5.84m @ 0.71% Ni, 0.97% Cu, 1063ppm Co). While the massive sulfide mineralization is hosted by a gabbro, a 6m wide interval of ultramafic cumulate rock was identified below the main mineralization. At the base of this cumulate, a narrow band of arsenic-rich mineralization returned 0.4m @ 0.96% Ni, 0.12% Cu, 0.66% Co, 3.08g/t Pd, 0.026g/t Pt and 0.48g/t Au, representing a previously not recognized type of mineralization at the project.

The remaining drill holes are expected to be shipped to the laboratory shortly and result from a recently conducted DHEM survey are currently being processed and modeled. Additional diamond drilling, accompanied by project scale EM and gravity surveys is planned to commence during June-November this year.
