Prospech Limited reported assay results from a recent sampling program at its Korsnäs REE project. The results confirmed that previous sampling did not cover the full length of REE mineralized intervals at the project, resulting in an increase in width of mineralization with e.g. drill hole KS-289 now returning 18.3m @ 13201 ppm TREO instead of the historic values of 6.2m @ 17514 ppm TREO.
Drill hole KS-289 further underlines the project’s potential for multiple REE mineralized zones, independent of the locally also occurring Pb mineralization.
Sampling of historic tailings material returned an average value of 4140 ppm TREO, leading the company to plan further sampling of the tailings material in addition to more re-sampling of historic drill core.
