QX Resources announced the intersection of massive sulfide mineralization at Bayrock’s Vuostok nickel-copper project in northern Sweden. Up to 6m wide pyrrhotite, pentlandite, and chalcopyrite mineralization was intersected in seven drill holes, with five intersections containing massive sulfide zones up to 1.9m thick.
The mineralization is confined to a flat-lying body in the basal section of a gabbroic intrusive at the contact with an underlying granite and is open to the northeast. Assay results are expected in late August.
