LKAB provided an update on ongoing repairs of the ore train track between Kiruna and Narvik after a derailment on December 17th. According to an update from Trafikverket, a preliminary forecast sees traffic resuming by the end of January. According to the company, the disruption is causing revenue losses of around 100m SEK per day as well as a constantly growing stock of pellets, raw materials, and special products in Kiruna and Svappavaara.
