Kuniko announced assay results from reconnaissance lithium exploration in Sweden. Rock chip sampling at the Väne Ryr project returned significant lithium grades up to 2.64% and 4.59% Li2O. The company notes that chemical analysis and visual mineral identification indicate lepidolite to be the main lithium mineral. Additional mineralogical XRD analysis to confirm the nature of Li, Cs, and Ta host mineralogy is planned.

Elevated lithium (up to 0.1% Li2O) and tin (up to 1,570ppm Sn) mineralization was further identified at the Stora Flaten Greisen project.

The projects will be explored under a 70:30 joint venture agreement with McKnight Resources AB, a private Swedish mineral exploration company. Exploration plans encompass extensive rock chip sampling and mapping as well as geochemical soil sampling to delineate potential drill targets.
