GreenRoc Mining reported on successful battery test work using graphite from its Amitsoq deposit in southern Greenland. The electrochemical test work conducted by ProGraphite GmbH showed that the Amitsoq graphite material performed well against all studied parameters and showed no signs of damage or loss of capacity after several charging cycles.
The company further advised that the first and second phases of a feasibility study for a processing plant are now completed with the next phases including among others the design of a pilot and full-scale processing plant, the estimation of production rates, energy requirements, and a full discounted cashflow model.
