Eclipse Metals published a maiden, inferred resource for its Gronnedal REE project in Greenland based on trenching and near-surface drilling. Estimated to only 9.5m below surface and using a 2000ppm TREO cut-off, the estimate returned 1.18Mt @ 6859ppm TREO.

Since all drill holes ended in mineralization and geophysical data indicates the continuation of the carbonatite, the company additionally published an exploration target of 35 to 40 Mt at 6000 to 7000ppm TREO for the uppermost 100m of the northern part of the carbonatite complex.
