European Green Transition reported results from recent channel and grab sampling at its Olserum REE project in southern Sweden. Channel sampling at the Djupedal prospect was successful in identifying a new, 100m wide, high-priority target with the best channels returning 3m @ 1.577 % TREO (Channel 007) and 1m @ 2.273% TREO (channel 008, offset continuation of 007).
Grab sampling was further successful in identifying additional mineralization at Djupedal, confirming the >800m long mineralized trend that remains open in the west. Additionally, the company successfully located another magnetite-biotite altered shear zone some 900m south of the Djupedal trend. A sample from the location returned 1.77% TREO with 0.393% NdPrDy. Notably, this discovery lies on trend with the Bersummen showing that has historically returned high-grade REE values.
The company’s maiden drill program at Djupedal is scheduled to commence in H2 2024.
