Prospech Limited published assay results from recent drill testing of the historic Korsnäs tailings storage facility. The results from a total of 480 samples distributed over 57 drill holes returned an average of 6,465 ppm TREO with an average NdPr oxide content of 1,896 ppm. The analyzed twin holes showed excellent repeatability of the REE grades. The company further advised that modeling for a mineral resource estimate of the TSF is currently underway, and initial metallurgical test work has begun. In the coming summer, the company is planning to drill test the mine area, where historic assays indicate high REE grades.
