Ragnar Metals reported results from channel sampling at the Flaken prospect at its Olserum North Heavy Rare Earth project in Southern Sweden. The best channel returned 6.3m @ 4,824ppm TREO (33% HREO), including 0.38m @ 10,198ppm TREO. The company notes that the channels remain open under soil cover. Rock chip sampling further resulted in the discovery of magnetite-poor HREO mineralization, thereby increasing the prospectivity of low mag areas in addition to the known REE mineralization associated with magnetic highs.
3D magnetic inversion modeling of data from a drone magnetic survey further helped to map out the potential mineralization at the two prospects and outline additional, sometimes large, magnetic targets.
Going forward, the company plans to drill test the project and has recently submitted drill permit applications.
