Latitude 66 announced the commencement of a new diamond drilling program at the southern part of its Kuusamo Schist Belt project in Finland. Following recent downhole EM surveys and lithogeochemical analysis, the 2000m drilling program aims to test both, the K8 and K9 targets where historical drilling intersected high-grade gold mineralization. Based on the results, the company plans to calculate a maiden resource for both prospects. Assays are anticipated in early November.
